Palm grove of Amtoudi

The oasis of Amtoudi, also called Id-Aïssa, is a place of great beauty and rather preserved from mass tourism. It is a true paradise in the great south of Morocco. The wadi Bulgour is channeled out of a canyon to irrigate a palm grove where also grow carob, olive and orange trees with some fields of barley. An aqueduct bridge exists even passing a pipeline from the left bank to the right. We walk easily along the bed of the wadi.
